ever encountered a near-death experience? well. i had. today.
actually this encounterment didnt affect me that much, until i realised how serious it was.
it all began like this:
at 8.00pm, my family just got out of the downtown east NTUC [at ehub!] so we were walking home, and decided to walk down the normal way.
i'm the one who usually walks the fastest in the family, so my dad, mom and bro were lagging behind.
around 8.10pm, we were at the trafficlight, waiting to cross. so when i saw the green man lit up, i happily took a few steps forward. i was in the midst of all the stationary cars, then i stopped, cos my family was lagging, as usual. but stopping to look back, actually saved my life! cos if i didnt stop, a speeding 'colour-blind' delivery motorbike would have crashed into me, and i wouldnt be typing this entry now. i mean. OMG! the green man is lit and the freaking trafficlight is RED! what's that bloody delivery man's problem. dang that idiot! f***ing moron[ok. too vulgar] trying to kill me? i haven't fufilled wishes and dreams yet, and your attempting murder. argh! reckless retarded motorcyclist. if you are colour blind dont drive, you idiot! and i havent celebrated my 17th birthday! how dare you crush my hopes!
after it happened, i was just cursing and all [didnt know whats wrong with me] suddenly, when we finally crossed the road. i just broke down... seriously. i serously thougt back about the incident and realised if i took one more step further... [you know whats next] cried all the way home, with my family with me.. haiz. sobs
i guess... life is really full of dangers, every turn you take is of risk. you may never know when life ends. i'll really live my life to the fullest, and so should all of you out there. take care. -sobs-
